AI-enabled malware analysis & threat attribution
Automated Threat Triage. Zero-Latency Execution.
AETHER carves suspicious files out of your network traffic, analyses them in memory, maps them to MITRE ATT&CK with a local model, and links them to known threat groups. Out-of-band capture adds zero latency to your network, and every verdict explains itself.
Static analysis only: samples are never executed.
Measured, not promised
Accuracy you can audit
- PE malware detected at a 1% false-positive rate
- 95.9%
- EMBER benchmark, 200,000 held-out files, AUC 0.9961
Why AETHER
Alert fatigue is a solvable problem. Black boxes are not the answer.
The SOC today
- Thousands of alerts a day, most of them noise, triaged by hand
- Black-box verdicts nobody can explain to an auditor or a customer
- A backlog of samples waiting for scarce reverse-engineering time
- Samples and telemetry shipped to someone else’s cloud
With AETHER
- Every verdict lists the signals behind it; SHAP/LIME attributions in Deep mode
- A fine-tuned local model maps behaviour to ATT&CK with cited evidence
- Automated triage from sensor to threat graph, with live analyst alerts
- Runs on your infrastructure; nothing leaves without your consent
The pipeline
From packet to threat actor, in four stages
Similarity search against known malware families is tuned for under 5% false positives (design target). The verdict itself comes from the static engine and classifiers measured above.
Step 01
Network capture
Out-of-band on a SPAN/TAP port, from PCAP replay, or inline as a reverse-proxy shield.
- Carves files from HTTP, FTP, SMTP and SMB traffic
- Out-of-band mode cannot delay, drop or block a packet
- Enrolled sensors sign every delivery (HMAC, replay-protected)
Enterprise protection
Built for the threats that slip past signatures
Fileless and in-memory techniques
Flags process-injection APIs, memfd_create execution and reflective code loading (T1620) from a sample’s static features.
Obfuscated scripts
PowerShell encoded commands, hidden execution and download cradles; JavaScript eval/unescape chains; VBA macros; long base64 payloads.
Steganographic payloads
Data appended after an image ends, embedded executables and polyglot files; LSB bit-plane recovery with CLIP scoring.
Known threat actors
Maps findings to ATT&CK techniques and to threat groups such as APT29 and FIN7, using OSINT evidence and the ATT&CK graph.
Threat graph: MITRE ATT&CK v16.1, 14 tactics, 656 techniques and 160 threat groups. Signature layer: 5,158 YARA rules.
Put AETHER on your network this week
Cloud tenants are provisioned automatically as soon as your payment clears. On-premises licences cover the platform and its network sensors on your own infrastructure.
- 1. Gradient-boosted PE classifier (LightGBM on EMBER features), evaluated on the held-out EMBER test split.
- 2. The full five-layer static engine on 1,518 benign Windows system and program files not used in tuning.
- 3. Uploads and sensor deliveries are buffered in memory, queued without disk persistence and analysed in in-memory buffers that are closed after each job.
- 4. The MITRE ATT&CK v16.1 enterprise bundle, imported with a pinned checksum.
